PA Asks pundits have laid out what they hope the chancellor will deliver

An increase to corporate governance tax (CGT), ISA reform and changes to inheritance tax (IHT) are among the changes Professional Adviser’s readers say they want to see in tomorrow’s Autumn Statement.

Respondents to last week's PA Asks were invited to share what they are hoping for from chancellor Jeremy Hunt, who will laid out his latest budget plans in parliament on Wednesday morning (22 November). One pundit said they wanted "action to grow the economy" while another said they merely hoped for "clarity". ISA reformation was a popular answer among respondents, as was a reduction in CGT, and a raised IHT threshold - all of which have been noted as potential announcements.
