David Gauke to speak at social investment conference

The Social Investment Academy is hosting a conference next week at which more details are likely to be revealed on potential tax investments for investing in social investments.

A new tax relief was announced in the last Budget and the government's tax minister, David Gauke, Exchequer Secretary at HM Treasury, will be the key note at the 22 October event in London. He will provide an insight into Social Investment Tax Relief ahead of an expected announcement in the upcoming Autumn statement. There will be a question and answer session with Gauke and David Geale, who is head of savings, investment and distribution at the Financial Conduct Authority.
