Gordon Humphries, Chair of the AIC, and Alex Denny have been re-elected to the board. Susie Farnon (Chair of the Audit Committee and former Chair of the Nominations Committee) has retired from the board.

Gordon Humphries, Chair of the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), said: “I would like to congratulate Peter Hewitt on his appointment and warmly welcome him to the AIC board. Peter brings over 40 years of investment experience and a wealth of knowledge as a long-standing investment company manager to the board. His dedication and experience in investment companies will be invaluable to the board and I very much look forward to working with him.

“As Susie Farnon retires from the board, I would like to thank her for the significant contribution she has made to the AIC and the industry.”

Peter Hewitt, Non-Executive Director of the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), said: “As an experienced investor in investment companies for 25 years, a non-executive director of a successful investment company and part of an investment management group, I am well placed to champion the investment company industry. The AIC works tirelessly to represent the industry and I have seen first-hand their work to promote investment companies to investors. I am honoured to join the board and look forward to ensuring investment companies remain relevant and continue to deliver for all investors.”
