  • NBPE announced that the company will request the admission to and trading of the 2024 zero dividend preference shares be cancelled. The cancellation will follow the redemption of the 2024 zero dividend preference shares, with effect from 12:00 pm on 30 October 2024. As previously announced, the maturity date of the 2024 ZDPs is 30 October 2024 and the final capital entitlement is 130.63 pence per share.
  • Henderson High Income (HHI) announced the appointment of Preeti Rathi as a non-executive director of the company with effect from 31 December 2024. Preeti has been a senior investment director at Investec for over nine years, specialising in the management of bespoke global investment strategies for high net worth private clients, offshore trusts and corporates. She also acts as an adviser to several charities. She was formerly a director of TIE London Limited and a discretionary portfolio manager at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.
  • Oryx International Growth (OIG) says its portfolio company Eckoh has been bid for. On completion the offer will result in an increase in the net asset value of the September valuation of approximately 10 pence per share and increase the cash balance of Oryx by £8,100,000.
  • Ørsted has sold a 12.45% stake in the Hornsea 1 offshore wind farm to Brookfield as part of a larger transaction that saw it pay £1.745bn to acquire 12.45% minority stakes in four of Ørsted’s operational UK offshore wind farms: Hornsea 1, Hornsea 2, Walney Extension, and Burbo Bank Extension, which have a combined total capacity of approximately 3.5 GW. Greencoat UK Wind (UKW) has a 12.5% stake in Hornsea 1.
