Tenet allows members to self-approve drawdown advice

Adviser network Tenet is offering its members licences to self-approve drawdown advice in a bid to speed up its processes ahead of the incoming pension reforms.

The network will allow licensed advisers to self-approve their drawdown advice to make it easier to serve more clients in less time. The move comes in preparation for an anticipated influx of new drawdown clients when pension freedoms are implemented in April this year. The government announced last year it is to liberalise pensions, allowing most people to access products such as income drawdown.
