Digital wealth manager Moneyfarm acquires investment firm Willis Owen

Brings group total assets to more than £5bn

Digital wealth manager Moneyfarm has acquired investment firm Willis Owen Limited, subject to regulatory approval.

This acquisition brings Moneyfarm's group total assets to more than £5bn and marks the firm's third in the UK over the past three years. The deal follows its integrations of Profile Pensions and Wealthsimple's UK book of business. The completion of the transaction is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025. Moneyfarm said its hybrid approach to wealth management, combining digital tools with human advice, aligns "seamlessly" with Willis Owen's "heritage of customer-centricity".
