Bell named pensions minister as Reynolds replaces Siddiq

Follows Tulip Siddiq's resignation

Torsten Bell has been appointed pensions minister as Emma Reynolds replaces Tulip Siddiq as economic secretary to the Treasury.

Reynolds is the Labour MP for Wycombe and served as parliamentary secretary in HM Treasury and parliamentary under-secretary to the Department for Work and Pensions from July, following Labour's general election victory. Bell was elected MP for Swansea West at last year's general election. Prior to becoming an MP, he served as the CEO of think tank Resolution Foundation.
